User Options

It’s important to keep your personal contact information up to date. If there are updates to the system or new features available, Ascend Federal Credit Union will need to contact you. The User Options features enable you to edit your personal information and other important settings. Click User Options from the E-BRANCH main menu to change your personal settings.

Change Password: Change your Ascend password. For your protection, you should avoid using easily guessed terms such as names of family members or pets, birth dates, or other public information. It’s a good idea to change your password every 60 days.
Change Timeout: Change the interval of time allowed before the E-BRANCH system will automatically log you out.
Enhanced Login Security: Add or remove extra security protection to the computer you are using to log in
to E-BRANCH.
Email Address: It’s important to enter your email address and keep it up to date so Ascend can contact you about
your accounts.
History Date Range: Set the date range for the first transaction list that appears when you enter an account detail screen.
Default History Sort Order: Set the way you prefer transactions sorted when you enter an account detail screen.
Change Account Nicknames: Change the descriptive names for each of your accounts. Nicknames are much easier to use than account numbers. You can also control which accounts are displayed.
Challenge Question Setup: Update your validation questions. These questions are used to verify your identity should you log in from a computer we don't recognize. To avoid answering the challenge questions repeatedly, add extra security protection to the computers you use most often to access E-BRANCH.
Change Account Number: Select your own Account Number for E-BRANCH. Like your password, it’s a good idea to change your Account Number occasionally, especially if you suspect that someone else might have observed you
typing it in.
Change Postal Address: Update your home address information.
Change Phone Numbers: Enter and update your home and work telephone contact information.
