Immediate Family Eligibility

As a member of Ascend Federal Credit Union, you can share the benefits of membership with your family. Immediate family members include spouses, children, siblings, parents, grandparents and grandchildren. Stepparents, stepchildren stepsiblings and adopted children are also considered to be immediate family members. Of course, once the primary member's immediate family members join, then that person's immediate family members are also eligible to join the credit union.

Household members, who are also eligible under this definition, are defined as those individuals living in the same residence and who maintain a single economic unit. This definition intends to embrace any person who is a permanent member of and participates in the maintenance of the household. Domestic partners and anyone who lives in the household and can demonstrate a degree of permanency will be considered household members.
