Freedom Card

Ascend Federal Credit Union's Visa check card is called the Freedom Card. This convenient tool lets you use the money in your Share Draft account without writing a check. With a Visa symbol in the corner, the Freedom Card looks like a credit card, but it's not. When you use a Freedom Card to make a purchase, funds are immediately deducted from your checking account. Simply use your Freedom Card anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted, sign the receipt and your purchase is complete.

Upon request, the Freedom Card is available to all credit union members in good standing with a Share Draft account. Don't want a pocket full of plastic? Your Freedom Card doubles as an ATM card! Use it at any credit union proprietary or network ATM for fee-free access to funds in your account.
