SMS/Text Messaging from E-BRANCH

Don’t have time to log into E-BRANCH and check your account? Now you don’t have to, thanks to a new feature that allows you to send and receive SMS/text messages to monitor your account.
Use text messages to check account balances, the last five transactions, and even transfer funds between accounts. Get a text when your account balance falls below a certain amount or when a large payment or deposit clears your account. 
How does it work?
Simply log into E-BRANCH and click “Mobile Banking & Alerts” under the Account Access toolbar. From there, just follow the set-up instructions on the screen, and you’ll be ready to go.
How secure is text messaging from E-BRANCH?
Ascend’s text messaging service is very secure. You activate the service only after logging into E-BRANCH. Text messages will never contain confidential information about you or your accounts, and messages will never contain full account numbers.
Will I be charged for this service?
While Ascend will not charge you, standard carrier fees for text messaging may apply. Please check with your mobile phone carrier if you aren’t sure what fees apply when you send and receive text messages.
How immediate are the payment/deposit alerts?
Please note that while balance inquiries and transactions are real-time, alerts are not. Alerts will only be distributed three times each business day at 8 a.m., noon, and 4 p.m. CST.
