Share Savings

If you are eligible to join the credit union, you establish membership by making a $5 deposit into a savings account. That $5 represents one share of the credit union, so we call the savings account a Share account. As long as you maintain a $5 balance in your Share account, you can remain a member of Ascend Federal Credit Union for the rest of your life, regardless if you move, change jobs or retire.

The Share account earns interest, or dividends, on the daily balance in the account. Those dividends are credited back to the account every month.
