Remote deposit capture allows members to deposit checks through the iPhone, iPad or Android phone app by snapping pictures of the front and back of the check.
Remote Deposit Capture
To register for remote deposit, simply login through our mobile app, select the Deposit tab and read and accept the terms and conditions. You should receive an email notification detailing whether your request was approved or denied.
Members must have an open Share Draft account. The account must be open a minimum of 30 days. If the account is in the name of a minor, there must be an adult joint owner on all sub-shares (savings, checking, holiday club, etc.).
You will need to login to your app and select the Deposit tab. Next, you will need to enter the amount of the check, then tap the camera icon to take a picture of the front of the check. Once you have accepted the image, you need to tap the camera icon to capture a picture of the back of the check. Please be sure to sign your name and include the words “for mobile deposit” in the endorsement area. Once you have accepted the back image, click Deposit. After submitting the deposit, you can request a confirmation email.
No. Deposits made through the remote deposit system will automatically be applied to the Share Draft account.
It may take up to 24 hours for funds to appear in your account. Deposits made after hours, or on a weekend or holiday, will not be processed until the next business day.
If there were problems processing your deposit, a decline notification will be sent through email detailing the reasons your deposit could not be accepted. Once you have corrected any errors, you can attempt the deposit again through the mobile app.
Yes. You can take the check and a copy of the decline email to your local financial center to complete the deposit.
You will need to check your spam or junk mail folder to see if the email was rejected as spam. If unable to locate the email, you may contact a representative by phone to check the status of your deposit. You will also need to verify the email address on file within E-BRANCH by clicking My Settings and Update Email Options.
You need to verify you have signed the check as it is written and included the words ‘for mobile deposit’. If your name on the check differs from the way your name appears on your account, you will need to endorse the check both ways: as it appears on the check and as it appears on the account. If the check is payable to more than one person and the names are joined by ‘and’ both parties must endorse the check.
