STAR (Simple Touch-Tone Audio Response)
STAR enables you to manage all of your Ascend accounts by phone, 24/7. Visit your nearest Ascend financial center or call 800-342-3086 to activate STAR and receive your personal identi cation number (PIN). Then, call 931-455-TONE (8663) or toll-free 800-342-TONE (8663). An automated voice will greet you and walk you through your options. You can speak your selections or use the number keys on your phone to complete a wide variety of transactions.
Use SMS/text messages to monitor your account, check account balances, review the last five transactions, and transfer funds between accounts. You can also set-up custom text alerts for your account activity.*
To register for SMS/text messages, log into online banking and click “Additional Services” in the toolbar. In the drop down menu, click “Mobile Banking and Alerts.” Complete the requested fields, and click “Save changes.”
*While Ascend will not charge you for text messages, standard carrier fees for text messaging may apply. Please check with your mobile phone carrier if you aren’t sure what fees apply when you send and receive messages. Please note that while balance inquiries and transactions are real-time, alerts are not. Alerts will only be distributed three times each business day at 8 a.m., noon, and 4 p.m. CST.
